Please take the time to read and follow these rules. They are here for a reason and are expected to be followed at all times.
1. Type normally. No "typin lik dis" or "ALL CAPS" or "all bold" typing. When you start a topic, don't put it in all caps. And be as specific as possible. Title things as "Adding a gallery header" instead of "Gallery help." Make sure you don't start a topic that's already been discussed. Use the forum search before creating a new topic. And try and merge your posts together. You can always edit, so don't post several little posts in a row.
2. If you ask for help, give as many details as possible when posting. Simply saying, "My page won't work" is not going to get you any help. Don't make people ask for details. Give them up front. The more the better.
3. Don't ever post your website login details on the forum and don't share them with people you don't trust. We won't be held responsible if you do so. This forum exists to help you learn, not to do things for you. If you came here hoping to find someone to install something for you, you're in the wrong place.
4. Treat each other with respect. If you don't like what's being said in a post, you can report the poster, but don't argue with them (that makes things worse). If you get an attitude with a mod, it won't be tolerated. If you have any problems (forum issues, another member bothering you, etc.), post them in the correct place, or send a PM to the mod. Curse words are edited. Keep everything in the PG-13 range. If you purposely type bad words to get around the filter, you will be warned or banned depending on the severity.
5. Please take a moment to post and let others know if you fixed your problem so they don't keep working on it. And if you can, please say how you fixed it since others may find it useful.
Other notes....
-You can link your site in your signature or in a post, but don't spam the posts with it.
-If you think your site has a virus, do NOT post the link on the forum as others may click on it and get infected.
-If you use a signature, make sure it's not huge so it doesn't mess up the board (if the layout gets changed to a less-wide size) and make sure it doesn't take too much time to load (in case we have some dial-uppers here).
